100 not out.

It is good to be back at Marple again, this time with a little sunshine, we moored in the cutting under the pub 'The ring of bells', quite by chance of course. We have been exploring the area more thoroughly than our last trip, now having found an excellent butcher ( Littlewoods ) who sells good cheese and home cooked meats too. Baz was off looking for a photo copying shop, he wants to send stuff over to the accountant, but does not really trust the post, at least we have a back up now.
On route yesterday we passed Geoff and Mags and Chas and Ann, Geoff was busy with his head in a book, but Ann saw us and gave us a wave and a big smile.

Just got the camera out in time to catch Geoff  and Mag's boat Seyella.

Goose pretending not to see us, on the nest, so photos of goslings to follow we hope.

Our mooring,  pub car park is top left ( whatever a car park is ) our Baz's old childhood home is a few hundred yards further  along.

The bridge back from our boat leads into the shopping area, only a short walk so no hassle in stocking up.

Ali has been saying she misses just sitting and having a coffee out, and that I never really go for that type of thing, well to prove her wrong I found her the perfect spot, she could sit and have one here, she did -  but I got no thanks for it !!

We have had a busy morning, catching up on jobs ( yes boat admin Phil ) but all will be well when we move on, we even managed to wash and dry our mattress topper, so along with fresh bedding, a comfy night , do love clean sheets.
We plan to fill the cupboards tomorrow, so.....afternoon off ?

Bye for now
Baz and Ali.
p.s.   our 100th  blog,  our thanks to the  people that read it.
