Moor to Life

Well when Ali decides that she wants to move, we move, in fact we covered in one day stint what took 3 days on the way up, why ? don't ask me , not as though we have an urgent appointment or anything, at several points I suggested we moor only to be told " it's too open " or " nothing here " "a bit bleak" she just wants off  this canal  and on to somewhere new! So here we are at Whitchurch, so tired after 8 hours on the tiller yesterday that we didn't  do a blog, it feels funny having to go back on a route, but there is no choice this time.
As a reward we have purchased a new camera to see if we can improve our blog pics ( well when we work out how it functions) we then went on a walk to try it out.
large shots
more detail and such a welcome sight.
the bridge from the canal.

Whitchurch has a nature reserve very close to the canal, we enjoyed our walk in the sunshine, spotting the new growth - Archie and Bella played spot the muddy patches and found several, something they regretted when we got back to the boat and they needed a paw wash in the hot, soapy stuff!
We are watching the weather forecast keenly, tomorrow is forecast sunny but then at least 3 days of rain are predicted. This poses a slight dilemma - our 48 hours on this mooring will be up pm on tuesday, we would quite like one more day here but don't  relish cruising in the rain.....decisions, decisions......

Bye for now
Baz and Ali
