Best Laid Plans

Having really enjoyed our stay at Bollington, it was time to move and let others try the town, so we planned a move to Higher Poynton for water etc then find a mooring, we missed the water point as a boat was moored there and we just didn't see it, so we carried on to Marple, a town I have not seen for over 40 years, we found the tap but mooring did not look to inviting,we had seen a spot on the way in, so we turned round to go back to it, unfortunately we are a little to deep in the water to get right along side, and having daft dogs that can fall off when we are tight to the bank, we decided to move on ....again, we have now moored past Higher Poynton, and it is a nice spot, but we are tired out as it'd been a long day, but what a day, sun sun sun.
We saw Geoff and Mags from the N.B. Seyella, who helped us when we were doing our research into our new life they were really helpfull answering all our daft questions without judgement or opinion, we will probably catch up again soon as we are moving the same way.

Moore 2 life travelling with Geoff another blog we occasionally to follow

We also saw the perfect boat for our little Bella.

Goyt mill on the way into Marple.

Braidbar boat builders yard, a well known company on the cut.

Well steak for our evening meal, and possibly a glass of red, so ...

Bye for now,
Baz and Ali.
