We moved back towards Bollington this morning as part of our planned exit of the Mac. The fly in the ointment being, we are due to have the extra solar panels fitted on Thursday next, and would like to be on a mooring that will enable the fitter to get his van close to the boat, as we have said, moorings are not too plentiful so it's a bit like musical chairs, we have a good spot now, and are reluctant to leave in case we don't find another good one for Thursday, but we been here before and want to move on, still if this is the sum amount of the stress we operate under, bring it on!
We are always looking at the scenery as we move, and of course trying to take photos of what we see-----with varying results, the main pit falls have been:
1 camera down in the boat, or at the tiller, but zipped in the case!
2 taking that quick shot with the lens cover on, or not switched on!
3 shooting after we pass the object on the move - it really upsets the auto focus,
Anyway some of the better, poor shots still in the memory card!!!
Nice shot of a sign, the three hares, just dots in the background, ( two boxing ) seemed less important some how.....
Ducks on a roof, waiting for the flood ? try the zoom button Baz.
Ali has a real problem getting Chas and Ann's boat in the frame, she has tried dozens of times.
That's Ann waving now, Honest!!
Passed Geoff and Meg along the way today - at least this pic is a reasonable quality! But where's Mags?
Good shot of our solar panels, maybe sit in the front for these canal scenery shots in future.
We enjoyed our stay at High lane, apart from one thing, too many cyclists. The ones going to and fro work are fine, the family groups are great, but we had mad mountain bikers ( why mountain bikes on a flat tow path ?) hurtling along in packs, last night one went by at 9.30 p.m. just dark, no lights, and our dogs were on the path. I know stop ranting.
Bye for now,
Baz and Ali.
