Blue Fit

As you may Know, we are waiting for our composting loo to be fitted,and saying goodbye to the cassette system and all that goes with it. One of the things you must have is " loo blue " and ours has certainly had the last laugh on us, I noticed a hint of blue under the rubber floor mats and investigated, it appeared to be emerging from a drain hole at the base of the port side seat locker, on lifting the lid there was no doubt what the problem was or where it was coming from, the loo blue had been leaking, it is pretty pungent stuff and had leaked over all the contents of the locker, everything needed to come out for a clean or be binned, once I had got my vision back ( as I said pungent stuff, who needs smelling salts)  I started. Of  course it stains everything it touches blue  (clue in the brand name)  so its more than just a flick with a damp cloth.

New toilet system awaiting fitting, supposed to be a 1.30 today.

At  4 pm  Paul from Heritage turned up, he had been called to a breakdown and the fit was now off for today, re booked for Monday morning at  9-30 am cutting it a bit fine for Ali's return, but should still do it!!

So it has been a day of sitting around waiting, following a session of frantic cleaning, where has the day gone?  My hands still look like they belong on a smurf, and the dogs have been cheated out of a good walk, still they will forgive me if I feed them, Ali won't if I don't get this loo up and running .
