It's an "Ice" day

We awoke this morning to a hard frost and it's trying to snow, still feel we have be lucky so far as some areas look much worse on the news.

After a good wholesome bowl of porridge we started our morning chores, loo emptying and water container filling.......what fun.... the joy of boating eh,

 Some pictures taken along the walk to the water point, showing the ice creeping up the cut.

And for Carol who has been enquiring after the health of Micky and Jay here is a picture of them enjoying a little sunshine on the stern.

We think she is really checking that they are up here with us and that we have not thought of a way to get them back to her...........       relax Carol they are not back on your roof ........Yet!!! 

We really feel like moving on but until the threat of ice and a frozen cut has passed we think it's safer to stay close to water and food supplies.....and there are some nice pubs......to look at !
