Castell Dinas Bran

Slow start this morning because we needed to wait around at the boat for the coal delivery. Ali however was drawn to the shops, perhaps by some strange magnetic forcefield - however only came back with milk and some cleaning wipes, there was some tell tale chocolate around her mouth and she confessed to having given in to temptation and eaten a Belgian waffle with nutella - not very Welsh but it hit the spot!
After lunch we set out for the hills to walk off the calories and get some much needed fresh air. It's been a while since we did hills and we both felt a bit puffed out when we reached the 1000ft summit of Castell Dinas Bran. It was well worth the short climb because like magic the sun came out and the views were great.

The only way is up

Once again the mini washing machine has been working overtime while we have the luxury of plug in electricity, even the dog bedding is smelling nice and sweet much to Archie and Bella's disgust!
The only fly in the ointment is that despite Barrie's efforts we've been unable to tune the telly in so we'll miss the only program we had earmarked as a 'must view' this week - 'Lightfields' - oh well never mind......
