Wow what a day ! the sun has been shining since 8 a m , we have been watching the solar panels earn their keep for once ( sad puppies I know ) and walking the dogs, we thought we would wander down to the nearby marina and use their shop, the whole place was shut, bit of a disappointment and no paper to read.

News of our arrival had been passed to the wild fowl around here, in the night we had Canada geese honking and demanding food for the use of their stretch of the water followed by a patient lone swan who new he/she would get something for persistence .......and did of course.

We are re-charging our batteries in the sun as well as the boats, so no move planned today .
Next stop a quick trip to Church Minshull, and there to plan .... get on to the Trent Mersey before they close the Kings lock for repairs or wait for the Llangollen canal to re-open in a few weeks time.
