In some ways it was just as well he had to return, for he was making steering the boat look too easy ! we were due out of Bollington ,so had cruised towards Macclesfield for a spell, before winding and coming back through Bollington to Whiteley Green to moor, Phil had a few spells on the tiller without incident or drama, obviously just beginners luck ?

We have picked a nice quite spot, no services ( pub close though ) as Ali will be jumping ship too tomorrow, to go down to Devon to meet Gavin's partner and her family, leaving me to look after the boat and the dogs ( better keep an eye on them, or they will be off too! ) and a rural spot is just the thing.
Boat Spot. Bedroom.
We have a compact ( small ) bedroom, but we did want a king sized bed, and were lucky with Micky Jay to get that, hard to take a photo when the bed is down ( folds in two during the day to allow passage ) but we do have a compact ( very small ) wardrobe each and some draws too! Plus a wet locker for damp coats etc ( what does that say about boating ) We had a new mattress in December, ( a whole story in it's self ) and we are comfy and snug it's probably the coldest room on the boat, but with a good duvet who cares.
As Ali is off to Devon she had a little last minute panic that a hair cut was in order - a big thank you to Dawn for stepping into the breach at the last minute - thanks again Dawn.
Bye for now
Baz and Ali
