Lazy Day

After all our planning, checking out moorings and looking for boat yards that are open on a holiday Monday that sell coal, we woke to a dull windy day that made us both think the same thing " we ain't moving ".
This is one of the pleasures of our chosen life, it can also be a pain if you need to move, but not today.
Ali got her hands on the art kit first so that left me with washing up I guess, and I now have a new hobby "find the leak" we seem to have water in rear underfloor area where we had none before, so being usually unlucky I assume we must have a leaky pipe somewhere,there could be other reasons for the water but a check round the most likely accessible areas seems a good move,without a result at this stage.

We will need to find a space on the fridge for this one!

As some of you know we have the " project " for next year or when spare monies are found, to convert the lower level into our sleeping and living area, this will free up the main area for guest accommodation  as the picture shows its all a bit bare at the moment and as yet we are not even sure of a layout, but we think the sleeping area will be to the rear of the stair well hole in the centre of the picture.

Well we will move tomorrow as the coal is about finished and Ali will not do a cold boat, so rain or shine (or ice and snow these days) we must move up towards Macclesfield in the morning.
