All Move Together

Although the weather forecast looked poor, rain showers and windy, we decided to move, and move early, the theory was, that things would be quiet after the weekend, the theory was pants, everybody had the same idea, with three boats waiting to go down the flight of twelve locks, and passing five boats coming up the locks, so much for an early start, still it all went well and we moored at the bottom of them, the views here are great, though we are struggling to get a decent t.v. station, but that's not so big an issue, the issue could be the wind, we are quite high, and very exposed, so will be rocked to sleep tonight.
Ali was a bit rusty on doing locks again, it is more likely the locks were a bit  rusty I think. We had an e-mail from Ted and Jenny ( N.B. Silhouette ) who have now arrived home safe after their cruise, and sent us a picture of their boat moored exactly were we are now moored, great minds eh!

Starboard side, note railway viaduct on the horizon.

Well our plans, such as they are, are changing, Baz's mum who recently had a stay in hospital, is still a bit wobbly  so Ali is taking a trip down to Dorset to try and give her a hand for a few days, while Micky Jay and the rest of us, go to the Heritage marina until she gets back. So Ali is trying to find where we hid the travel bags, and I am looking in the cupboards, to find out what rubbish in a tin I will be reduced to eating over the next few days.

Bye for now,
Baz and Ali.
